HSA/FSA Eligibility
Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account funds can generally be used for qualified medical care, and many direct-to-consumer diagnostic tests advertise HSA/FSA acceptance at checkout. Eligibility ultimately depends on IRS rules and your plan administrator — and some products in this space, such as paternity testing, are typically not eligible because they are not medical care. When in doubt, check with your plan before paying.
