FAQ · Testing Basics

Can I pay for at-home tests with HSA or FSA funds?

Often, yes. Many diagnostic testing services advertise HSA/FSA card acceptance at checkout, since qualified diagnostic testing is generally an eligible medical expense under IRS rules. Two caveats: eligibility ultimately depends on your plan administrator, and some products in this space are typically not eligible — paternity testing being the clearest example, since it is not medical care. When it matters, confirm with your plan before you buy.
