Legal vs. Home Paternity Test

Home (peace-of-mind) paternity tests and legal paternity tests generally use the same DNA analysis and accredited labs. The difference is procedure: a legal test requires verified identities and witnessed, chain-of-custody collection, so its result is admissible in court; a home kit collected privately is not. Services price these differently, and choosing wrong for your situation is the most expensive mistake in this category.
