Biomarker
A biomarker is any measurable indicator of a biological state: TSH for thyroid function screening, lipids for cardiovascular risk conversations, vitamin D status, HbA1c, and so on. Wellness panels are essentially bundles of biomarkers. What a given value means for you is a clinical question — which is why results pages universally advise reviewing them with a healthcare provider.
